The current process for the UNJSPF Certificate of Entitlement, which is used to verify eligibility for pensions, relies on paper-based forms. This process serves a large number of retirees and beneficiaries across numerous countries. However, due to its reliance on postal services, the process is slow and inconvenient.

The introduction of the App brings significant improvements to this process. It incorporates facial biometric technology, liveness checks, and geo-location to submit a Digital Certificate of Entitlement via a secure blockchain. The inclusion of geo-location ensures that even retirees and beneficiaries who receive their pension through alternative means can still utilize the app.

All user data is stored securely within the App or in data centers protected by UN Privileges and Immunity. No cloud-based services are involved in the processing of user information.

For retirees and beneficiaries who prefer not to use the app or are unable to do so, the paper-based Certificate of Entitlement will remain available as an alternative option.
